Courses

The Lefkoe Occurring Course

This powerful course, which is only offered three or four times a year, teaches you how to dissipate the fear that keeps you from taking action and dissolve the anger that harms relationships. You achieve this by dissolving your “occurrings,” which arise from the meanings you give to events moment-by-moment. These automatic, unconsciously created occurrings determine how you experience your life. When you complete this course, you will have made the Lefkoe Occurring Process—the Process that enables you to dissolve your “occurrings” in moments—so automatic that you’ll rarely have to use it consciously any more. The course results in you experiencing a peace of mind that is possible only when your mind stops creating negative meanings for events. As Krishnamurti once said, "The highest stage of human intelligence is to observe without evaluating."

Lefkoe Belief Process Training Course

This nearly completed tele-course will teach you how to help yourself and others eliminate beliefs using the Lefkoe Belief Process.

Hi Morty: I just completed the whole Natural Confidence Program. WOW! I am transformed! And I want more. :) Is it true that our collective core wounding is that of separation? If so, wouldn’t we all benefit massively by directly removing the beliefs surrounding that? Would you please consider (very quickly) creating a program to address that issue? It may necessarily need to include addressing dysfunctional beliefs around our concept of God. Thank you!

If you want transformation, next take The Lefkoe Occurring Course. You will be quadupeling your “WOW!” It has changed my life, and has become almost automatic. My mind is so much quieter and peaceful, without all the chattering about “what is occurring.” I think a new course is beginning around 10/11/11. Best, Barbara

P.S. As well for ADD/ADHD, I have trouble focusing and make many mistakes, I am basically one of those people who can walk into a glass door because I was daydreaming. Even when I try to pay attention to details I cant. So could this be linked to beliefs?

      Hi Pepi,

Maybe you have the belief “Being responsible is a burden”.

  16. B~ September 11, 2011 at 1:05 am - Reply

    Hello Morty,

First of All — Thank You for EVERYTHING you do!!!

My recommendations for new course ideas are as follows:

    — Overcoming Addictive and Self-Defeating Patterns/Behaviors (i.e. Smoking, Drugs, Alcohol, Sex, Pornography, Gambling, Obsessive-Compulsive Shopping/Spending/Stealing, Swearing, etc… [you’ve already addressed Over-Eating])

    — Achieving Healthy Life Balance (i.e. Nutrition, Sleep-Wake routine, Exercise, Prayer/Meditation, Creativity, Education, Work, Play, Intimacy, etc…)

    — Principles for a Happy & Healthy MARRIAGE/INTIMATE RELATIONSHIPS (since you and Shelley can speak with EXPERT AUTHORITY from years of personal EXPERIENCE).

    — And please seriously consider re-scripting ALL of your courses to include/embrace the fact that beliefs can be imprinted (and come from) ALL SORTS of people at ANY point in a person’s life — NOT just from one’s parents… and NOT just from one’s childhood. I’ve personally suffered many damaging physical, mental and emotional scars at the hands of siblings, extended family, teachers, neighbors, strangers, house-fires, natural catastrophies, etc… during EARLY childhood… right up to the present day with jealous/abusive ex-lovers, back stabbing “friends,” business colleagues, etc… and ALL of these traumas can be equally as intense, painful, mis-interpreted, subconsciously embedded, and otherwise “HARD TO GET OVER”… as those generated by parents during childhood.

The reason I mention this… is I’ve tried telling other people in my life about your courses and shared with them some of the free belief elimination tools/modules that you offer online… and many of them interpret your method as “parent bashing” and simply reject your approach and refuse to learn more out of innocently/ignorantly mis-interpreting your message (because they feel like they have wonderful parents and/or had a wonderful upbringing and don’t want to dis-honor them in any way, shape, or form)!

However, many of these people have had other EQUALLY AS VALID childhood traumas, at the hands of people/events/circumstances (other than their parents), that were just as real and significant for them, which they could then use to more easily relate to your particular method/approach with… if you allowed for it in your language in your trainings.

I hope you understand what I’m trying to say…

Ultimately it’s about finding the VOICE OF THE CUSTOMER and speaking to them through THEIR OWN VOICE (which would require you leave certain elements as VARIABLES for each client to FILL IN THE BLANKS with their OWN particular life situations, etc…)

    Hope this Helps,
    B~

    Benjamin B. Bado

p.s. I REALLY respect you and your wife… and all of the work that you’ve done… and I’ve learned a TREMENDOUS amount from your teachings… Please know that the above recommendations were written with LOVE, RESPECT, & COMPASSION.

    Cheers!

    (^;b

I believe you can diffuse these types of complaints by taking on a more HOLISTIC viewpoint that offers the client a “straw-man” approach with more variation as to the original source of the “wounding”… by allowing the client to name/substitute ANY VARIABLE as their “offender”

    • Morty Lefkoe September 11, 2011 at 2:49 pm - Reply

      Hi Benjamin,

Thanks for taking the time to present your point of view. However, based on working with over 13,000 clients in one-on-one sessions, we have found that almost ALL self-esteem beliefs are formed as a result of interactions with parents in the first 5-56 years of life. People who don’t think that is the case realize it is after working with us.

There are other beliefs formed later in life, but not self-esteem type beliefs.

I wrote a blog post that explains why this is the case. https://www.mortylefkoe.com/wonderful-parents/#

It is not about blaming parents or bashing parents, it is about identifying the true source of beliefs. It is not about allowing clients to come up with whatever source they want, or whatever source they are comfortable with; it is abut finding the real source. And this is our experience. Take a look at my blog post and let me know what you think.

    Hi Morty,

I thoroughly enjoyed hearing you speak on The Aware Show teleconference.
Are you able to reconcile for me the following 2 questions:
    1) How do “beliefs” fit in with other authors’ concepts of “archetypes”?
    2) How do “beliefs” fit in with others’ concepts of the shadow-side or the shadow self?

    Thanks kindly,

      Hi Susan,

I’m not really sure. I haven’t read much about the “shadow side.” I guess it is one way to look at human nature, another is to see behavior as a function of beliefs.

Thanks for your interest in our work. Don’t forget to try the free belief program. If you see the difference, let me know. http://recreateyourlife.com.

I have a little problem. When I get stressed I fart. What beliefs could cause this?

    • Morty Lefkoe September 9, 2011 at 5:46 pm - Reply

      Hi Marius,

The cause is physiological, not mental.

You have beliefs that cause the stress, but then there is something physiological that has the stress cause gas.

      Love, Morty

      • Marius September 9, 2011 at 6:05 pm - Reply

        Hi Morty,

Thanks you for the fast reply.

So there aren’t beliefs that cause the gas. Then the best way to stop this is to eliminate the beliefs that cause the stress. Usually I get stressed when I’m just sitting in class thinking that I may let gas and make my classmates uncomfortable. I don’t know maybe the problem is that I care what others think about me, but I really wanna get rid of this problem.

If you have any suggestions to what beliefs may make me stressed I’m willing to work on getting rid of them. I tried working with the natural confidence beliefs but I cannot pinpoint which beliefs make me stressed.

        Cheers,
        Marius

        • Morty Lefkoe September 9, 2011 at 6:17 pm - Reply

          Hi Marius,

The beliefs on NC should get rid of most stress. Research has shown they reduce stress by over 50%.

If they don’t then you have some specific issues that we could only discover in a private phone or Skype session.

          Love, Morty

    • Max September 11, 2011 at 9:56 am - Reply

Actually there are mental causes for physical things. If it were physiological, everybody would fart when stressed. You got some conditioning linking stress->gas. You can get more clues about it in psychosomatic dictionaries too.

The most useful thing I could ever get out of you Morty is obtaining your superpowers. If I could master the ability to eliminate beliefs, that to me would be invaluable, as I know that The Lefkoe Method is the key to changing my life, and helping those with problems.

This might be too much to ask Morty but could you please write in detail about finding what beliefs cause specific problems? I know you have already written about it in the past, but I’m dying to read advanced techniques or useful tips or common pitfalls and rookie mistakes when trying to find beliefs, because I’m an amateur Lefkoe Method practitioner based off of what I read on your blog but I’m still obviously nowhere near as good as a trained facilitator, and I would really appreciate it if you could give us some advice that would help me get better with the technique. Although I suspect I’d be better off just waiting for the LBP training course.

    Morty,
I am about a third through with the Natural Confidence course and I can tell the differences are beginning to slowly arrive. Thank you. In regards to question #1, I can think of three things.

One, a limiting belief discovery program. One cannot eliminate a belief if one does not know what it is. Like many, I often confuse behavior with belief.

Two, you have my vote for the Lefkoe Belief Process Training Course.

Third, a Where do I go from here? program. After eliminating my limiting beliefs, how do I go about manifesting the things I wish to experience?

In appreciation for your and Shelly’s work.

      • Thomas September 12, 2011 at 3:14 pm - Reply

        Hello Morty,

Thank you for your response. I will certainly review your extensive blog postings. To help clarify my definition of manifestation, I have concluded that people generally view life in one of two ways; Life is determined for you/it is fate/karma/God’s will and the best you can do is decide how you are going to react to life and make the best with what you were given. Or, you are the creator of your life. The later philosophy assumes there is a how. How does one create their own life? So my definition of manifestation is how does one consciously create one’s life?

        Thank you.
        Thomas

        • Morty Lefkoe September 12, 2011 at 4:19 pm - Reply

          Hi Thomas,

We can definitely do the former, totally determine how you experience the events in your life. If you complete the Lefkoe Occurring Process you will be able to do that easily.

You also can take actions to get what you want, and if there are no beliefs in the way serving as barriers, and you have clear goals and a good strategy, you have a good chance of getting it. But I don’t know any way to guarantee that you will be able to produce specific results in reality all the time.

As far as suggestions for new programs, perhaps you can create a program to address limiting beliefs that prevent a person from finding a romantic relationship. I’m sure some of those limiting beliefs are addressed in your other programs, but having a specific program might be helpful.

If the problem is an emotion, and if it persists after all the relevant beliefs are eliminated, there is probably a conditioning involved.

    Morty,

All your posts are super-informative and helpful. I’d love for you to tackle anxiety. What the heck is it? Where does it come from and why does it appear out of the blue, then disappear and the reappear? This disorder plagues many people and it does not even make logical sense at all, yet it is still there. Reading about it on blogs sometimes brings on an attack, but the way you would handle it would be different and beneficial and would help eliminate this “beast” from my life once and for all. Cheers!

      Hi Josie,

Ultimately anxiety is the result of a perceived threat to your survival. That can result from negative self-esteem beliefs and other types of beleifs. The Natural Confidence program should go a long way in reducing anxiety. And then we would have to figure out what specific beliefs you have that cause your anxiety.

At the moment I have no idea how I could help people find the relevant beliefs and conditionings and eliminate them in an exchange of emails. If I figure out how to do it, we will offer it.

But if it took as much time as the phone sessions, we would have to charge the same amount anyway.

      Hi Barbara,

We already have a WAIR? program. What more do you want on that topic?

Hello guys, I would like to see you write more about how to attract love into our lives because I don’t think you’ve written about love yet, and its a very important topic to me. Thanks

I just found your method via YouTube and the Joe Vitale interview. Fantastic stuff that has given me some great insight. I haven’t tried eliminating a belief for free yet, but will.

The program that I am desperate for would be to help me with my eating disorder–bulimia with over-exercise as the purge mechanism. This disorder grips me like a vise. I’ve tried EVERYTHING to no avail.

As well, I would really like to hear more Podcasts on anything relating to eating disorders. I have read your free eating report and have listened to the old Podcasts related to the subject.

Thanks for your great work. I wish you peace and happiness!

      Hi Jennifer,

I will be writing more about eating disorders but reading about it won’t help. You need to eliminate the beliefs and conditionings that cause it.

We have helped a number of people with bulimia. Although it is a complex issue with a lot of beliefs, you can eliminate it in private sessions.

Hi Morty, let me say when you do your best to satisfy your husband, but doesn’t seem to get it and knowing that the biggest enemy is by not talking about your problems and he seem to enjoy this part of not talking, because when you start talking not shouting, he will not speak to you the whole week. So tell me what to do
is like i am getting used to not talking.

      Tshiamo,
This has nothing to do with what you’re doing, but rather what is going on with him. My sister had the same problem with her husband ; he grew up with a father who would go for three weeks without speaking to his wife. Finally, she put her foot down and said, “I’m not going to let you get away with this.” After that, he didn’t pull it anymore. A lot of this has to do with the way your husband’s father dealt (or not) with issues. He is controlling you with his silence because it works for him. The best thing you can do is talk into his silence whether he responds or not. Was he like this before you got married? You could say, “I know you’re used to using silence to control me, but I’m not playing that game anymore. How can I know what’s going on with you if you don’t share your thoughts with me? I thought marriage was a partnership between two people who love each other and I don’t feel loved when you pull the silent act.” You are not responsible for the way he reacts, only he is and if you want it to change, you have to speak up and not let him use his silence as a punishment.
      Love and Light,
      Lauren

Hi Morty. I would like to see a program directed to helping people with stuttering. Much of the time I’m as fluent as anyone, but there is this background feeling that my speech could break down at any moment. I wonder is this because of false beliefs. Stuttering seems to have puzzled the healing professions for years.
This could probaly be extended tp public speaking which is a very prevalent fear amongst the general population.

      Hi Nick,

We already have a program that is designed to get rid of the fear of public speaking. That will help many people with stuttering.

If the problem is still there after completing that program and if the problem is not physiological, there might be a few additional beliefs after completing the fear of public speaking program.

You can call us for more information if you’d like. (415) 506-4472

Hi Morty, I’d love to read more about attachement, mostly defined as by the Buddhist, particularly in relation to love. Like when you love someone so much that it hurts to even breathe without them right? Now, according to many such eastern philosophies it’s not the love that hurts at all, it’s the attachment which goes with it. Ideas on how to tackle that?

    • Morty Lefkoe September 8, 2011 at 9:22 am - Reply

      Hi Alexander,

This type of attachment is usually the result of a belief like: WHat makes me good enough or improtant is having a woman in my life (love me, be there for me, etc).

You have based your self-esteem on having a woman, so you get attached. I know as I had this type of belief when I was married the first time.

Get rid of all the negative self-esteem beleifs first and then identify the “survival strategy” beliefs about needing a woman. That should make a major difference.

      Love,Morty

Hey Alexander, i already got a lot of experience in this field, so it might be useful if i share something that i learned to you. Working this questions on myself i found lots of romantic beliefs and senses, and its just this, we have lots of these things and its this that make us suffer, desire, fell sad, etc. Dissolve beliefs like i had, “i love you”, “i love you soo much”, “i always liked you”, “i want to be with you”, etc., etc., etc., and senses alike, like “kissing”, “hugging”, and lots lots more. There are hundreds of this things in us… dissolving them will not make us not loving, it just make us free of desire, pain, and actually make us more able to love properly! There are survival strategies beliefs too, they are really great to dissolve, like “having a woman is the most important thing on life”, “i will not have the most important thing on life (women)”, etc.

i’d like to know about problem with being very introverted, and if there is a way to have more energy in social situations? Not be drained by socializing. (Even if you dont have social phobia etc.)

    • Sherri September 8, 2011 at 1:50 pm - Reply

Sounds like a highly sensitive person like me – a way to be comfortable and confident in a social situation but not overwhelmed by all the other personalities

      • Cutie September 8, 2011 at 1:57 pm - Reply

Excuse me but how is it helpful to “Know” you’re a highly sensitive person? It doesnt change anything. I knew that since I was 10. Those labels are really irritating to me now. tell me something I dont know, you know.

        • Sherri September 8, 2011 at 2:01 pm - Reply

First of all I didn’t say anything about KNOWING what you are. I said that people who are sensitive to social situations and feel overwhelmed – as you said – might be helped by a process to help them deal with these situations. Please take it up with Mr Lefkoe, not me.
