About Anne Lieberman

Education

Anne Lieberman has a BA in Psychology (with honors) from Sonoma State University and an MBA from U.C. Berkeley.  She trained for five years to become a Certified Lefkoe Method Facilitator.

Work Background:

Anne built her own financial advisory and asset management company, Lieberman Associates, from the ground up. When the firm reached the level of $100 million in assets under management, a New York asset management company acquired Lieberman Associates.

During her career as a financial adviser, Anne wrote two books and contributed to four others.  She was a financial columnist and wrote articles on the psychology of money.  She appeared on radio and television throughout the U.S.  She was named, by Worth Magazine, one of the 250 top financial advisers in the U.S.

Meeting the Lefkoes

After she sold her company, Anne retired and volunteered as a business coach, working with entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations, for eight years.   During this time, she co-authored a column on how to be successful in business…and she met Morty and Shelly Lefkoe at a dinner in the home of mutual friends.  She queried them about their work and was fascinated by their description of The Lefkoe Method (TLM).    She began the training out of curiosity, but when she saw the results people achieved through TLM, it was enough to drag her out of a happy retirement and back to work!

Anne’s education and lifelong interest in psychology bring an added dimension to her TLM work with individuals.  Her MBA and track record of successful business management and business consulting combine to make TLM even more powerful in the business context.

Specialty Area – Sales and Marketing

Anne’s second specialty area has evolved out of doing TLM work with people in many areas of business — from entrepreneurs in service businesses to CEOs in engineering companies– and finding that sales and marketing is the most challenging. The power of TLM is that it can eliminate internal barriers to being effective in sales and marketing. Those are the things that keep us from picking up the phone, following up and closing the sale.
