On Wednesday, September 26, 2018 Shelly was in a serious car accident.

She was hit by another vehicle on the driver’s side of her car.  Fortunately, her side airbag deployed with saved her life. She has six fractures and a concussion, and is expected to make a full recovery.

Shelly being Shelly, wanted to come back to work right away.

However, her concussion makes it too difficult to work right now.  She has to rest her mind for the concussion to heal and will also need physical therapy to recover from her other injuries.  Of course, Shelly is concerned about her clients. Some have immediate needs and, for all clients, continuity produces better results. She doesn’t want clients to have to wait when it’s urgent or have a big gap in their sessions.

What will happen over the next few weeks?

As Shelly recovers, other facilitators will take over her sessions.  One of them is Anne Lieberman. Anne has been a facilitator for 10 years and has worked with hundreds of clients.  She has collected many testimonials over the years but one you won’t find on her website is Shelly’s testimonial.

Here’s what Shelly had to say about working with Anne:

While Anne was in training, she worked with me (and with Morty) and helped us make important changes in our lives. We immediately “graduated” her from trainee to Certified Lefkoe Method Facilitator.  That was 10 years ago. Since then she’s helped hundreds of clients.

You can book a session with Anne by going to www.getasession.com.

We will also post some blog posts that were still in development before Shelly’s accident.  You’ll see these over the next few weeks.

What can you do?

If you want to let Shelly know about your thoughts and prayers, you can leave a comment here.  We’ll show just a few of these to Shelly slowly as she is not ready to do to much reading as she recovers from her concussion.  However, when she gets back, she would be happy to see what you’ve written.

So, if you are willing, leave a comment below.

Shelly, I’m so sorry to hear of this car accident. I’m so glad that you have such a powerful, peaceful mind to get your through any and all challenges, and people like Rodney and Anne to keep your work going strong. One of my other influential heroines, Jane McGonigal, recovered brilliantly from a concussion as well; I believe you will too and I look forward to a future talk you give where you talk about it! As I have told you before, stumbling upon your and Morty’s Natural Confidence videos was one of the greatest accidents that ever happened in my life. And the unconditional love I felt from you in our session left an indelible memory — I delight in thinking of the love you will feel when you are all better, reading these 111 (and more to come) messages of love. All the best to you and your family. Love, Phoenix

Darling! The “Pause” button has been hit on your behalf… I know it’s painful (both literally now and figuratively) to stop and just breathe… but I know that you will come out on the other side even stronger and brighter!

    Love,

    Sonya

let me tell you a story. In Mai of this year my parents were on holiday in England. My father woke in the morning with a tingling arm, what followed was a two week nightmare of none of the doctors being willing to say if he would live or die. He had had a massive cardio vascular accident; a congenital weakness that no one knew about had exploded and tried to take quite a lot of brain with it. Fast forward to today he is eating, he is talking and he is almost walking. Our brains are amazing, my father’s’ brain was almost squashed into his neck yet he is recovering. You will too. Its not going to be all that easy and it will take a lot of time, but one day this will just be another story, never doubt that. xxx
