Less than 48 hours ago I received a call from Jennifer Lucus, my oncologist. She had just received the results of a PET and CT scan that I had done Monday morning. I was convinced that she would tell me that I was fine, that there was no recurrence of the fourth stage metastatic colon cancer I had been diagnosed with in April of last year.

The words What Now? in a thought cloud or bubble above a thinkinI “knew” that I had been healed because colon cancer produces CEA antigens that can be measured in the blood, and my CEA level had been in the normal range for over seven months. Jen hadn’t seemed to be worried for months.

The scans showed cancer

But I was wrong. She told me that there was evidence of cancer in my colon, in addition to masses in my lymph nodes and my spleen. The mass in my liver that had been identified last April was reduced in size, but there was still something there.

I was in shock. I had been convinced that I had been healed. This wasn’t possible. In fact, the only reason I had had the scans was because of a bowel obstruction I had experienced a few times in the last month. The doctors had wanted to find out what was causing the obstruction. One possibility was scar tissue from the old tumors and I was convinced that that was the cause.

But now I was being told that the obstruction wasn’t scar tissue from an old tumor, but a mass from a new colon tumor.

I started to give meaning to the new information

For the first time with this illness, I found myself starting to give the event (what Jen had told me on the phone) meaning. And as is always the case with occurrings, they seemed so real, so true. It was obvious that what I had been doing for the past year didn’t work. There’s nothing else I can do. I thought: That’s true. That’s not meaning.

For about 36 hours I seemed to be stuck. I felt tired; I don’t want to work at getting better any more.  I had given it my all and I failed.  I started having a lot of thoughts about dying, about my family, and how to prepare for death. Interestingly enough, I felt no fear or anxiety. I felt no stress. But I felt as if I had given up.

But some part of me knew that this reaction was due to some meanings I was giving some events. And I was determined to figure it out. This morning I finally figured it out.

I started to realize that I had been giving the events (what Jen had told me on the phone) meaning. The meanings still seemed true, but it was starting to become real to me that part of what seemed to be true was not what happened, but the meaning I was giving to what happened.

At that point I was able to start dissolving the meaning. I’m going to describe my thinking process because it might be useful for you, not necessarily because you are dealing with a cancer diagnosis, but because it would be useful with any other event to which you’ve given meaning where the meaning seems so true.

My thought process as it happened

What do I know for sure from what Jen told me?  All I know for sure is what the radiologist said in reading my scans.  He may or may not be correct.  The one who read my original CT scan in April read it wrong and said the mass on my liver was not malignant.  It turned out that it was.

I need to go over the actual scan with Jen and see for myself. But even if he is right and there are masses or tumors or something on the colon, the spleen, the liver and the lymph nodes, I don’t know the prognosis for that, i.e., I don’t know anything for sure about my health and well-being now and my future health and well-being.

I hadn’t given the original diagnosis of fourth stage metastatic colon cancer last April any meaning at all. But now I was giving a bunch of meanings to the fact that I thought I was totally healed and the PET scan shows signs of cancer in several places.

What’s actually happening and what meanings
am I giving it?

What are the events I am having occurrings about and what are the occurrings?

Event: I had thought I was totally healed and now the PET scan shows signs of cancer in several places.  (“I am totally healed” was the meaning I had given the normal CEA readings over the past seven months and I had assumed that was the truth.  I now realize that it was only an occurring; it never was the truth.)

Occurring:  If what I did so far was not sufficient, there is nothing else I can do.  (I think this is the most important occurring.)

Can I see that?  No.  Can I see “can’t”?  No.  Can I see the future?  No.  I’m not sure what else I can do, but I don’t know for sure that there is nothing else I can do that would be effective.  I can keep doing what I’ve been doing and maybe I just need to do it for longer time.  I can talk to Michael Broffman (my Chinese medicine expert who prepares my supplement protocol) and see what he thinks.  I can read the transcripts from “The Truth About Cancer” program and get ideas there. I can create my own healing instead of relying on my intuition.  Maybe love and healing thoughts from others do work; maybe I just need them for a longer period of time. Do I know for sure that there is nothing else I can do? No, I don’t.

Occurring:  I did everything I could possibly do; there is nothing else I can do that would be useful.

Same analysis as above. Also, I did a few things that seemed to be useful and then I stopped doing all that I knew because I thought I was healed. I stopped looking for more things to do.  If I need to do more of what I had been doing or different things, I can do that.  I don’t know for sure that there is nothing else I can do that would be useful.  I’m not sure what else I can do, but it is not at all true that there is nothing I can do. Do I know for sure that there is nothing else I can do that would be useful? No, I don’t.

Occurring:  What I did didn’t work.

I’m not sure that it didn’t work.  It could be that what I did was sufficient to kill off the cancer cells that were creating the CEA.  And now I have something else that has to be dealt with differently or with more of the same.  It didn’t get rid of all cancer cells, but that doesn’t mean that what I did had no effect at all.  It must have had some effect because the CEA did go down.  I need to find out what improved and what is new. Do I know for sure that what I did didn’t work? No, I don’t

Event: I had been relying on my intuition.  It told me I was OK; no cancer.  It said that there was no illness now and there never would be for the rest of my life.  Now there is cancer.

Occurring: I can’t rely on my intuition any more.

Maybe I can’t rely on it totally, but I can get clues from my intuition that I can check on.  Maybe as an alternative I will have to rely on myself; what I create and know to be true will be because I said so, not because my intuitive voice said so. Do I know for sure that I can no longer rely on my intuition? No, I don.t.

Event:  I have believed that the major source of my healing is no stress and being convinced that I am and will be OK.

Occurring:  If I did that and that wasn’t sufficient, then nothing else will work.

The original event was only an occurring and was never the truth to begin with.  I did that and it looked like I was healed.  But if I did that and I wasn’t totally healed to begin with, then that event isn’t true. Do I know for sure that nothing else will work? No, I don’t.

My next steps

So what should I do now?  Find out more details about exactly what is going on from Jen tomorrow.  Is the colon cancer a new tumor or is it the old one that has “come back”? Why is the colon cancer not producing CEA? Is there any other way to measure the extent of the cancer in my body? See Michael tomorrow after I see Jennifer and get a protocol for alternative treatments, including cannabis and High dosage vitamin C.  See the surgeon as soon as she can see me.

What else? What can I do mentally to have the same confidence now that I had when I was listening to my intuitive voice saying I was fine?

I can create a context just like I taught you in my recent blog post on operating out of an “My life works” context. Only this context will be: I am whole and complete and healthy. Anything that happens, any information that I get, will be held in that context. I may not see how any given piece of information is consistent with that context at the moment, but I can still hold it that way … because I said so.

I’ll keep you informed as I get more information from my allopathic doctors and non-traditional advisors. And I’ll continue to let you know how I am holding all of this. I’ve dissolved all the occurrings I had been giving to the news I received Monday evening from Jen and I’m looking forward to talking to her and Michael Broffman Thursday.

At the moment it is very real to me that the news so far has no meaning—that I know nothing for sure about what will happen to me or what I will have to do. I also feel confident that I am okay and will continue to be okay.

    Dear Morty,
I certainly hope you don’t actually read all of the nonsense posted in the replies on here. I’m very sorry to hear your cancer has returned. I hope whatever time you have left is filled with peace and love and with as little pain as possible. None of us know with certainty how long we have left in this realm, so hopefully some will follow their own advice.
Meanwhile, here is something that may be of help. It can be made more palatable by cooking it with fresh chicken soup. http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-795-bitter%20melon.aspx?activeingredientid=795&activeingredientname=bitter%20melon

    Dear Morty.
Do you have any meaning on these things: it’s not OK to die, leaving others after death is not OK, not holding on to health is failure, trying to hard is not Ok, not trying hard enough is not OK, trying to engineer an outcome is not OK, trying not to engineer an outcome is not OK, health is necessary to be OK. my health is necessary for others to be OK. Being alive is necessary to be OK. Allowing death is necessary to be OK. Helping people understand i’m OK to be OK.
Just a note, your intuition is working fine, the part of you that though you were cancer free was the part that has given meaning to needing to not have cancer again.
I wish you and your body glowing health.
    much love diana

    Dear Morty,

I`ve offered you ideas in my above post to consider using in your situation. As I`ve found out today, none of them – or any other solution offered here as far as I am aware – are verified by scientific evidence. Actually the opposite is the case. Just a few examples: a ketogenic diet even in theory could only help in about 60% of all types of cancer that indeed cannot metabolize anything but sugar; the rest of them can. And blood sugar levels will remain high enough even on the strictest ketogenic diet that it can feed even those 60% of cancer cells. Or we can take any of the “alternative” treatments offered. Cancer is just such a complex disease with so many radically different varieties, possible causes for each and their completely different treatments. Alkalizing, juicing or a raw food diet are not the answers either. Brandon Bayes, whose healing method I mentioned, got a football-sized cancer despite her following an alkalizing raw food diet, exercising regularly and giving health advice to her coaching clients. And as she was recovering she was drinking solely carrot juice that has some of the highest natural sugar content among vegetables to “feed” cancer cells. However plausible a theory sounds, it`s not how it actually works inside of the body.

I`ve experienced lots of mindset shifts while looking at the actual science on http://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/ketogenic-diets-for-cancer-hype-versus-science/.
One of major ones was that I had been obstinately sticking to the ketogenic diet as a cancer-prevention method because through this belief I was trying to meet my need for certainty that I can avoid the pain and possible death that would come with having cancer or other conditions. And in order to have this certainty I`d accept any evidence coming from authority figures whom I trusted, and that would support my belief, with little or no applied critical thinking or looking into the actual science of cancer.

In reality we are not here forever and cancer, or whatever, can take our lives away in any moment. We have very little control over this. The time will come for each of us and then all that matters is whether we are identified with what we are going to lose, to shed, or with what we truly are eternally.

And you`ve had plenty of time to practice this, Morty, through the “Who am I really?” part of your process so you might be ready for anything life – or death – can throw at you. Even if you aren`t, you`ll remain the same essence, just the shedding process can become more “involved” :) – which doesn`t matter in the very end anyway.

I wish you freedom from all remnants of conditionings and false identifications you may still have.
    Bless you.

      Hi Attila,

Thanks for all the time you’ve taken to write me on several occasions.

I have one of the world’s experts of alternative cancer care who is in charge of helping me choose protocols for my healing. He knows which have scientific evidence and which do not.

I am about to leave the hospital after having a piece of my colon removed and will be starting a regime in a couple of days designed to rid myself of the rest of the cancer that the PET scan showed in my body.

I have no concern about it, no fear. I’ll do what makes sense and I am 100% confidence that I am and will continue to be healthy.

I expect to live for many more years. While I am passionate about living, I am not attached to being alive.

Thanks again for your concern and support.

      Love,Morty

    Dear Morty,
Thank you for your sharing that is stimulating such an important conversation. I didn’t read all the comments, so I don’t know if I am being redundant.

There is something that I think needs reminding.
In the end, no matter when that comes, it will come, we must lose our bodies, our sense awareness and all that comes with it. So for me, the fundamental issue is: what is it that remains “deathless” and essential and what is ephemeral and not who we really are?

Of course we must be as skillful as possible to honor this life and this body and do all that is possible to maintain it……. and……… what is greater than this?

All of the greatest saints, mystics, yogis, spiritual leaders, have eventually left their bodies. Their skillful means could not overcome this truth. They did, however, become aware of the larger truth.
This is what interests me over all else.
    Thanks for listening.

Dear Morty I am saddened by the news of your illness. I have been searching for over 50 years for your solution.

I know if anyone can beat this, you will. I pray for Gods healing, and for your family. We’ve only spoken once but you have definitely influenced me and your work will live on. Hopefully with you!

    God bless you!

Morty, firstly I certainly wish you well – in mind, body and soul.
I’ll add my 2 cents worth in case it’s useful to you or anyone else. My father completely reversed his metastatic prostate cancer – the cancer had spread through his hips, spine and what looked like into his liver and the doctors gave him 3 years of progressive pain before death. He happily refused ALL current medical treatment that sounded like a slower but just as sure death; and along with a positive and future oriented outlook he changed his diet to vegetable juices & steamed veggies with herbs for seasoning (nothing else!) and also took several different supplements including Chinese herbal, green tea, etc, plus he added bicarbonate of soda in small quantities a few times a day – all with the desired effect of keeping his pH level in a steady alkaline state at 7.5 – 8.5 – which they say cancer cells can’t live in. He kept to this stringent diet for approximately 4 months then added a little meat and other ‘goodies’. Several months later all his tests came back with no metastatic cancer and greatly reduced PSA levels for his prostate. The diet obviously played an enormous roll in his recovery. (PS: when he started the diet he was tired and headachey, etc initially – about 2 weeks later his energy levels began to soar and he was back into his carpentry work feeling better than he had in a decade.)

    Hello Morty,
    I recommend you visit “beating-cancer-gently.com”.
I also recommend intravenous vitamin C (9gm/day) and if you can get it vitamin B17. Despite the no-sayers the latter is used in Mexican cancer clinics to achieve a 95% success rate.
Lastly, ASK us all to help you by sending you good and loving vibes to get you in harmony with the universe.

Glad that in this most challenging of times in your personal journey you continue to create your inner peace. You are always 100% well in spirit. Keep tapping into that! Bless you.

    Dear Morty,
Thank you for sharing such a personal story and thought process. I pray that you will be blessed with a full recovery. As another person commented above I want to stress the importance of getting your Ph balance correct. Cancer thrives in an acidic condition. You can buy test strips to test your ph and then work immediately to alkalize your body. I buy ph drops from a friend which you just put in your water everyday. It’s from a company called Essante Organics and they have fabulous products and oils, all toxin free. I have also heard about the cannaibis oil helping, not the cannaibis plant itself. Many blessings to you and thanks for all you do to help others.

Thank you so much for your sharing. It is sweet and inspiring. And thank you all those who participated in the discussion thread and contributed your resources.

This is where the rubber hits the road.

These things helped me: Attunement to the body. Listening inwardly. Waiting patiently while listening. Opening to hearing. The body keeps the score, to quote the title of Bessel van der Kolk’s magnificent new book.

Being willing to hear others’ suggestions. Feeling your body’s response to hearing them….following its guidance.

Asking yourself if you are missing something about your lifestyle. My own theory is people who do many hours of sitting every day are more prone to things going wrong in the pelvis because of my observations, i.e. noticing the psychiatrists, meditation teachers, therapists who have come down with colon or ovarian cancer. They now say that sitting is the new smoking….

These are things that helped me during my breast cancer experience 19 years ago. There is much to learn about the house we live in.

Thank you for your courage in being willing to face this and share it with others. Also, your generous sharing of your other discoveries has really contributed to my life. It makes me question and inquire into my own reactivity and discover so much about my thinking and beliefs. I thank you for your ebook. It is more affordable and makes more of your teaching accessible to me. I am deeply grateful.
My prayers and blessings are with you.

Just read Dave’s letter. I wanted to add my ex husband’s story. He was given 6 months to live and had a severe blood cancer. He looked terrible. They amputated his leg. He combined chemo with going to Dana Farber and Sloan Kettering to see specialists. Then to the Block Center in Chicago for the combo of alternative and allopathic. He did a lot of alternative therapies, Thai massage, acupuncture, chi gong, super healthy diet…it is now 10 years later. He is alive and well.

It CAN be worked. It is true. It requires an open mind and commitment to doing whatever it takes to live.

I have seen it myself and heard so many stories.

    Morty,

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RESPONSE ON THIS ENTIRE PAGE!!

I apologize, but I do not have the time to respond beyond this post, so I will not be reading anyone’s follow-up comments to this post.

HERE’S WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER YOU:
I know of the direction (treatment instructions) of three people — all of which have taken the ‘alternative’ path after WesternMedicine failed them. All are cured now, including one who is my very own brother.. and who is now living with a single kidney–after medical science told him to have it removed. Today, he is duly angry, because while learning how to avoid a recurrence, he ended up learning that never *did* require the removal of his kidney, because he discovered how to beat cancer courtesy of work ordered by Richard Nixon–that Nixon ended up making classified. But that’s only one method I have knowledge of.

Among these three people, all of their own treatment-success stories are overlapped by hundreds, and thousands of times over — in the stories told by others who have similarly had their cancers completely disappear — stories you can read all day long when you read the sources I have ready to reveal to you — as told inside the writings of the various teachers who these three I speak about learned from themselves.

(Remember everybody.. be careful of the wording you used in any public post about successful ways to treat cancer. TO STAY OUT OF JAIL, you need to understand that the FDA actually made a LAW that says nobody but DRUG companies are legally allowed to use the word ‘cured’ in conjunction with the healing of a malady such as cancer.. So please note, I never used the word ‘cure’.)

Call it what you will, but these stories are all of LONG term cancer cases where their cancers are now completely gone and have been for many years — which makes their stories all the more outstanding, because if you actually study how long a patient has to live without cancer for “WesternMedicine” to officially label them as being “cured’ the actual period of time in remission is very short by comparison. But of course it would be, because the drug-machine would really be exposed if they doubled that time period 0 but they don’t want their pitiful results to look as bad as they really are, so they ‘adjusted’ the time to suit the best period of results. Anybody who’s not blind knows to “Follow the money..” CHEMO makes the drug companies millions upon millions of dollars! So you can be sure they’re doing everything they can to keep a lid on the kind of information I have to pass along.

ANYbody reading this comment who is interested in getting your hands on this information, please send your request, and I’ll send you back the information I have. My best guess is that the combination of all the methods I would include in an email back to you should stand about a better-than 90% success rate across all possible cancer types provided the treatment advice is followed to the letter.

THERE’S ONLY ONE THING LEFT THAT YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION TO..

I study online marketing, so I literally COLLECT marketing email/letters. That means I get over 200 emails per day. And for the most part, I archive all of them in a massive archiving motion at the end of each day.
The way I weed out important emails is to ask people who WANT to get my attention to . . .
PLEASE USE ALLCAPS INSIDE THE SUBJECT LINE.
As this paragraph demonstrates, this is a great way to ensure nothing important gets archived.
So if you want to get an email back from me, BE SURE TO DO THIS!
And perhaps to be doubly sure.. use the words “REQUEST FOR CANCER TREATMENT INFO”
That will help me identify letters from this blog post all the more quickly.

    Anyway… back to YOU, Morty…
I have the COMPLETE package of information readily available to email to you.
You can email me c/o “Dave”

It’s not too late! These treatment methods all have stories of people who have faced stage4 cancer, and are alive and in good health 10 years later!
(I haven’t *yet* heard that claim about anybody who underwent chemotherapy.)

Hi Morty, the website chrisbeatcancer.com has lots of info of different natural cancer therapies and many testimonials. also the website of hippocrates health institute in florida has testimonials and the cancercompassalternativetherapies has tons of info and testimonials. There are healing centres like Gerson therapy clinic in mexico, dr nicholas gonzalez in NY as well. for emotional component (if there is one) http://www.healingcancer.info. Also emofree.com website has a recent testimonials in the newsletter section for some cancers I think. beating cancer gently program might be helpful by bill henderson. Many of the therapies stress raw food vegan diet with lots of juices, high enzymes, lots of enemas to detox. Cannabis oil helps some really well (see chris’ site above for testimonial), high dose vit c IVs, for others healing emotional stress greatly helps. Also Simonton mind/body program might help. Maybe there are other treatments by mainstream drs that will help just as well or better, I don’t know, just posting links in case it helps. Hope this helps and wishing you a full recovery with whichever treatment you choose!!!

Hello Morty… I just can’t say what is more appropriatte to you in this moments.
The only thing I can say right now is THANK YOU for sharing in public, this. Your journey, your process.
The second thing I can say is YOU RE JUST DOING THE RIGHT THING.
Your actions are appropriatte, your looking the way to heal, your keeping your options open, you’re reacting.
You need to go on with all this, without surrending but THE ACTION is not the only thing you need to do, in my humble opinion.
WHAT ABOUT THE NON-ACTION? WHAT ABOUT THE FAITH IN THE PROCESS. WHAT ABOUT THE CREATION? I think somehow every one of us, is creating what we need.
What I read here is you need to fight for something… What about to fight for something else, something that It hasn’t to do with YOURSELF, WITH YOUR TIMELIFE.
Your body just need apreciattion, respect, care, rest, good food, love, peace, faith and love.
YOUR LIFE MAYBE NEEDS A NEW REASON TO FIGHT. A HARD ONE, BUT OUT OF YOUR BODY.
I BEG YOU PARDON CAUSE I’M NOBODY TO SAY THIS, I’M JUST A PERSON…
MAYBE WHAT I’M SAYING TO YOU IS WHAT I REALLY NEED TO DO, ME.
I’m scared of diagnostics and I have to do one now.
Try now, to find an advice for me.
I’m a 35 years old girl, I’m maiden, I live with my parents, I’m an only child, I was never lucky in love, and very desperate about this reason, I work, and I love to do it, but I feel always a little empty.
I need to find a fight outside of myself too, cause my body and health ask for attention.

    I THINK YOU’RE A CREATOR. EVERY ONE IS .
FULLFILL YOUR LIFE OF PURPOSSE AND DREAMS RIGHT NOW, NO MATTER WHAT DOCTORS OR DIAGNOSTIC ARE SAYING.
PUT GOALS, PUT SO MANY FOR THE FUTURE.
    AND START MOVING TO THEM!

    I WILL PRAY FOR YOU.
I’LL HOPE THAT MY COMMENT WILL BE READ AND ANSWER.
WILL YOU PRAY FOR ME TOO?

    Hi Morty,

Thank you so much for sharing what is happening with you, and for all that you do.

The title of your post says “My cancer has returned.” That’s a possessive…it’s MINE. I would invite you to consider that it is NOT yours. You do not have to own it.

I’m not suggesting that you ignore it or not deal with what’s in front of you. But you can detach from it. Then you may not have to fight it…you may be able to let it go.

    Sending light to you.

        Hi Morty,

As I`ve gradually become more and more familiar with your work I`ve come to appreciate it tremendously and now I believe it`s truly groundbreaking and deserves more attention from the world.

Su-Lin above said the cancer needn`t be ignored but you can detach from it. We have many layers in our consciousness one of them being the observer part of our wholeness. This is the part that can make judgments and evaluations and then the sense of joy or a real sense of connection in connection with what we are observing, can disappear. I believe the cancer has to be both felt in an embodied way and observed without trying to judge, analyze or even change our thinking about it. Then we`ll start getting the answers we need.

Some people in the above comments suggested some possible metaphysical symbolic representations of your disease in your psyche. These mind-body maps that depict these connections have been made by sensitive, intuitive people, who may well have been right IN GENERAL about the metaphysical causes of illness. However, especially in your case – as you are dealing with beliefs and meanings – it`s not the general theme that needs to be addressed but the specific events or occurings that led to the formation of the belief. These broad, non-specific mind-body maps can give you clues as of the possible area you could look into in your life but there is no guarantee that your specific type of cancer (IF it has been diagnosed correctly) carries the exact same meaning as it is in the mind-body map, in reality. I believe there`s one authority in our life who has access to the truth about our illness – and it`s ourselves, our intuition or divine guidance if you will. By tuning in to the bodily area and quieting one`s mind the answer will clearly jump out from pure consciousness. Then when a specific life event pops out it can be dealt with by changing the meanings around it, (I`d add identifying the unmet need in the situation and finding new, empowering ways of meeting it as adults. It might be that by dissolving the limiting belief around it will not create effective ways automatically to meet that chronically unmet need while the old, life-alienating habitual patterns of meeting it may have disappeared – it`s a bit like removing the limiting money-beliefs without learning effective money-management skills, you see) and also if forgiveness is needed it`ll happen as a natural side-effect of taking responsibility for the situation. I believe you would be more than capable of doing this inner journey in your body on your own if you choose so. In case you`d be interested and needed a few guidelines there`s a lady, Brandon Bayes, who has a complete system of spiritual healing based on accessing memories held in specific parts of the body: http://thejourneyna.com/ I believe in your case with cancer, your methods and hers would result in a great marriage and synergy.

I`ve read you`ve accepted a commenter`s offer for a free breathworking session. Limiting beliefs and the resulting negative emotions will create a disturbance in one`s breathing and through the increased acidity level of the blood (because the higher levels of CO2) it leads to stress and creates an acidic environment that supports cancer cell growth. Rebirthing or holotropic breathwork will on one hand create anti-cancer alkalinity in the blood more powerfully than any other method (e.g. an alkaline diet) and on the other it`ll stop the beliefs from running and creating their effects on the breathing and emotions. With time, through the effects of extinction these beliefs can lose their energy and disappear as new ways of behaviour are exhibited in the situations that would`ve normally triggered the beliefs and emotions. An alkaline diet, especially raw and cooked vegetables will have a similar effect but in a more sustainable way as we cannot maintain the alkalinity of our blood indefinitely through hyperventillation. An alkalizing ketosis diet will also be helpful in getting rid of the cancer. I`d like to post the link I`ve shared with you earlier here about this, for easier access to everything from one place: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2013/08/03/natural-cancer-treatment.aspx

I believe your soul has chosen to have these challenges so that it can grow in new, exciting and fulfilling ways. It`s a sign of strength and courage, of a strong and brave soul. You`ve got everything in you that you need to overcome or accept whatever is happening to you and either way, grow stronger. I wish you an amazing journey through this.
        Love, Attila

Thanks Morty for posting your fascinating account of your thought processes. I wonder why you made those errors in your thinking the first time you felt you were healed? Was it because you were relieved? So interesting to hear that you had to re-think your original thoughts to get clear of giving meanings this second time. I feel sure your approach will enable you to make the right decisions – how could you know everything about the pernicious disease straight away.

    Morty,
I am also feeling compelled to ask the question: have you given meaning to the whole process of meaning-making as something that causes suffering and should therefore be avoided? I think this is what this experience is inviting you to consider.
Of course, that is just the sense I get and the meaning I make from that, so take what you will.
Again, I appreciate your vulnerability and openness, as well as your willingness to invite those who may have different perspectives.
    All my best,

    Dear Morty,
Thank you so very much for being open, honest and vulnerable with your process. In reading your post, I find myself wondering, are there instances in life in which it is OK for things to have meaning? And if so, what might be the meaning of this experience for you? What might this experience be inviting you to acknowledge? What might this experience be inviting you to do? What might this experience be inviting you to learn?
    Blessings to you,

The environment inside as well as outside our body is so important. The mind definitely affects this environment but so does our diet. A holistic approach is needed incorporating mind, body, spirit and environment.

If the goal was only to stop creating “meanings” then the greatest adepts of the Lefkoe method would have to be patients in the Alzeimer’s ward. They give meaning to nothing for the most part. They just go around with a blank stare. Basically nothing you say to them has any meaning. You can actually tell them their children died and it doesn’t bother them at all, they simply ask, “what children?” I have to tell you these people don’t seem particularly happy though. Why? Because they may be leaving out the most important ingredient in life. Love. Until our lives are a constant expression of love we have missed its true essence.

Love will always be the true healing method.

I heard a fascinating interview with a woman who had terminal ovarian cancer and prepared to die. I don’t remember if she smoked cannabis or ingested it, not with the intent to cure herself but that is exactly what happened. Her tumors shrank. She runs the Beverly Hills Cannabis Club so google that website and contact her. I think there is a specific ingredient that shrinks tumors. Dr. Sanjay Gupta has endorsed the medicinal benefits of marijuana. No side effects and cheaper than pharmaceuticals that damage your body. Please contact Cheryl Shuman and ask her how she cured her cancer. All legal

    Morty,

Although medical science has achieved some wonders in understanding the human body, as with our beliefs, I have lately wondered if the interpretation of diagnosis and prognosis concerning cancer are in opposition to something closer to an actuality rather than the present reality paradigm.

We have all been led to believe that the presence of cancer is something that may lead to death if not eradicated. This is certainly true. But what if the presence of cancer is, in effect, part of the actual healing process itself? And what may determine whether the cancer continues to proliferate or goes into remission is dependent on resolving a mental and emotional shock that was experienced earlier in life that may be the source of the cancer growth from its beginning.

What I speak of is the basis for German New Medicine by Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer. I was directed to this for some reason recently and I find the information highly fascinating. What Dr. Hamer has researched for quite some time flies in the face of conventional medicine while helping to bridge the inter-connectivity our emotions and psyche with the presence of illness and disease in the body. This may be worth a look.

      I agree J. James!
Learning German New Medicine can be beneficial in a number ways. Firstly- understanding the biological meaning (as revealed by innate intelligence) can encourage the individual to be free from the fear of the “disease” diagnosis.

I celebrate you and I honor you for “practicing what you preach.” A true sign of a true teacher. As you may know, I teach/practice Breathwork, conscious breathing, spiritual breathing… among other names for it… I have many friends, clients, students who have overcome the challenges that you face. And I would be very happy, honored in fact, to give you a breathing session… in return for all that you have contributed to the lives of others. After working with over 100,000 people in over 40 countries, I have no doubt that you will discover points in the breathing that you have never observed. Together with what you already have, what you practice, and what are doing, i have no doubt that a guided breathing session, some hands on coaching, will help… will make a real difference… the mind gets its power from the energy in the breath.. and we can learn very quickly how to access more of that life force energy thru the breath. Please let me know what your intuition tells you as you feel into my offer of service. Love to all, Dan

    Dear Morty,

I wish you a speedy and safe recovery from your illness and that you become stronger and wiser by overcoming it, so much so that you can look back at it with a feeling of gratitude after your healing. I`d love to be able to keep learning from you and know that you are still among us doing a great service to humanity.

You may have known this already; cancer cells thrive in an acidic, oxygen-deprived environment and they feed on carbohydrates. If they are deprived of their food they`ll stop growing and they will be killed. Dr. Otto Warburg was given a Nobel Prize over 75 years ago for figuring this out. Yet oncologists usually don`t use this information, possibly because nutritional approaches are not from the textbook in mainstream medical science. A ketosis diet, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and a few other approaches can help starve out and kill the cancer cells and that is supported by Warburg`s research. A ketosis diet means eliminating all carbohydrates from your diet and retraining your body to burn healthy fats for fuel. I need to eat only once or twice every day on this diet and I`ve got constant abundant levels of energy and endurance throughout the day. Please look further into it; It`s the most effective approach to curing cancer that I know of, including all the amazing advice in the above posts. Here`s the link:

    Dear Morty ,
Sorry for your continued illness. I do a lot of energy healing including distance healing. Anyway from techniques I do like Total Body Modification and Natural Healing Technique that cancer and other life threatening illnesses are initially manifested by a death wish. This is no matter how conscious or unconscious it is. I therefore believe that is true for you. I believe this can be dealt with in many different ways, possibly by your own methodology. Also after fixing that the individual would need some kind of purpose to keep them interested in life. I believe this is hardly an issue for you. I am writing this as something that might be helpful to you and wish you a healing and good health.

    Hi Morty,

Many Blessings and Much Love to you. I am praying for you and your family. The warrior in you will prevail no matter what happens to your body. In Native American traditions there is a difference between being healed and being cured. You are healed and at peace, but not cured at this point in time.

If I had cancer I would take Iodine, Vitamin D3, Lithium Orotate, Magnesium, Fish Oil, a complete Mult-i Vitamin,Standardized Milk Thistle to detox the liver, and use Magnesium oil/lotion. These have been well researched. Have you explored any alternative treatment protocols in addition to your OMD? Have you tried any? There are many Alternative/Integrative/Holistic/Functional Medicine doctors out there who can offer you alternative protocols. Have you tried a ketogenic diet to starve the cancer? There are many avenues to explore that will heal you.

Thank you for your awareness and the way you so thoughtfully have guided us. May you be showered with blessing today and always.

    Dear Morty,

Very best wishes to you on every level and every front. I want to share a resource with you that could be very helpful to you. It is Spring Forest Qigong (http://www.springforestqigong.com) founded by Chunyi Lin. The practice he teaches, and his guided healing meditations (including one specifically on cancer – http://www.springforestqigong.com/index.php/all-cds-and-downloads) are highly beneficial. He teaches us to channel and awaken the healer within. They’re very friendly and helpful at Spring Forest Qigong. A simple phone call to them could open the door to help, and self-help practices that could be exceeding good for you. In any event, interactions with Spring Forest (which have always been by phone for me, or by working with their products) is quite uplifting in my experience, and genuinely beneficial. Sorry if I’m going on a bit about it here – I am just hoping to say enough to spark your curiosity so that you can check it out for yourself.

    Love,
    Carol

    Hi Morty,
I love your work and reading about your very inspirational life stories dealing with cancer. It has been helpful to me and I thank you so much!!!

I’m sure you’re familiar with the old cliche “laughter is the best Medicine”. Are you familiar with the story of Norman Cousins? He supposedly was diagnosed with leukemia in the 1970s. He is said to have checked himself into a hotel room (across from the Hospital) and watched massive doses of comedy – like old episodes of the Three Stooges and Marx Brothers’ Movies. It is said that his cancer went into remission.

    Laugh it up Morty!
All my best and lots of Love,
    Dave

    Hi Morty,

Sad to hear about the changed condition (if true).
If you’re open for other treatments than your own method, I would recommend to take a look at Matrix Energetics healing. I’ve been looking into that myself lately and it seems to me to be the real thing.

    Big hug from me!

Morty first of all Im am so sorry to hear of the latest news concerning the cancer. I am praying for you at this difficult time. Cancer is such a strange disease. I have observed it in animals and have used wheatgrass on my pets and have seen them cured of it . Ann Wigmore :s books offer much help and information on this disease. Some people think that cancer is an advanced fungus that happens to settle at the most vunerable part of the body. I know that chlorophyll , blue algae, and hyperbaric chamber therapy were very helpful to the patients I cared for in the hospital where I worked in the l990:s. I agree with Julian (above) keep your body in an alkaline-acid balance. The company PHion offers test strips for you to see where your acid/ alkaline balance is. Keep taking probiotics this encourages good gut bacteria, esp. after taking antibiotics and chemp. I hope this was helpful to you. Remember Morty, in the Grand Universe you are loved and cared about. thank you for your work and sharing. All the best of healing to you.

I completely thank you for telling us your thought process as it is unfolding because , as with me, going through a similar challenge, you are not only helping yourself, but helping others along the way as well.
I used your 3 free belief sessions & they were great. I have told others about you in hopes that they can lead better lives.
As I work out my own thought process, I will send good thoughts your way!
    With much appreciation,

    Dear Morty,

First of all, I wish you to have a long and healthy life.
I want to share with you, and your readers, some of my conclusions concerning the cancer.
Because the disease took away from me, many of my beloved, I started looking after it, to figure out what it is, why is not cured?. I found in my research many things, from “Big Farma” to healing potions like Essiac, and correlations with other disease incidence like diabetes, alzheimer, candida.
To make the story short, I want to tell you what I found.
Cancer seems to be a disease related to a prolong “inflammatory” state of the body.
This inflammation can be caused by many things, but in our modern times is mainly due to our diet.
In the diet I found the following great sources of inflammation:
    1. Oil (lack of omega 3) should be replaced with animal fat.
    2. Sugar, coffee, carbonated juice, should be replaced with alkaline water.
    3. Food which increase acidity (like meat) should replace with food which increase the alkalinity (like the veggies). You can check further for acidity-alkalinity of the body.

    My best regards,

My dear Morty, I’m truly sorry to hear your news. How wonderful that it only took you 36 hours to decide to view it differently and I’m full of admiration for your decision to share your process with us. Many stories abound of those who have been totally and unexpectedly healed when all around said it wouldn’t be possible. I can’t see any reason why this couldn’t happen for you too.

I wish I had something to offer you other than the thought that keeps occurring to me about John of God, the Brazilian healer. I remember reading about Wayne Dyer when dealing with leukemia and his decision to seek controversial treatment from Brazilian healer John of God. As I say, just a persistent thought running around in my head, but it’s so persistent I felt I needed to share it.

Whatever you decide to do next, I wish you heartfelt peace and joy and imagining great celebrations on your full recovery.

    Blessings, Elle

hi Morty, you may not be aware of this but there are probably thousands of different kinds of cures to cancer out there in the world. it isn’t something that is blared on TV but its whispered throughout each crevice of society, passed by word of mouth from person to person among all tribes and nations. the mainstream media would never tell you about them because they cant make money off these cures so i recommend you read this website as starters so you can open your eyes again to a new world of possibility and hope where there is always an answer to every single ache and pain you will ever feel in your body and in your life. .http://www.cancertutor.com/

Sad to hear the cancer has spread and what a great thought process you have shown us. The same thing happened to my husband and because we were convinced of his healing there was a definite shock process to go through.
Also Beth at Quantum Techniques is amazing at muscle testing and finding out what will work best for your body and is experienced with cancer and hard to treat illnesses. Amongst other things, she highly recommends ozone therapy as cancer finds it difficult to thrive in an oxygenated body.
Whatever you decide is right for you. I wish you love light and healing

Hello Morty. Thank you as always for your real sharing and your honesty in application of your method. Such an inspiration!

I’m sure a lot of suggestions about how you might proceed will come to you. I’d like to throw in mine as well with all of the well wishes of your happiness, health and continued success as possible.

A meaning that you may be making up is that “fighting” is the right thing. Disease is sometimes pointed broken down as “dis-ease” to remind us that it is about stress causing unease within. Fighting is one way of responding and not necessarily the best approach. Instead, “responding” might be your new word. In your use of your method in this case you’ve responded, not so much “fought”. One creates more mental/emotional “drag” than the other. Or maybe you can even come up with a better description.

As a person of high happiness and low stress you may have an occurring that stress doesn’t cause all disease. A definition of stress might simply be enlarged. Stress is “a load on an organized system” and aberrant stress might be seen as “load borne improperly or inflexibly by an organized system or load which exceeds the organized system’s current parameters of coping without degradation”. An example of stress on a system could be a nuclear bomb going off in your face. We can all probably agree that this is too much stress for a human being to cope with. But pollutants, microbes and electromagnetic radiation can also cause issues on our system when our system is not bearing them optimally or it is done inflexibly.

Another concept is that who you are may need to be seen by you as more expansive. All stress causes an effect in all of your being, on every aspect of it. We have a social, mental, emotional, spiritual, financial, sexual, and many other parts. But we can break this down to the main “body, mind and social”. I would suggest you check out Meta-Medicine for more on these concepts. You can even get a health assessment from them which will likely be able to totally break down the disease model going on in you along with it’s sources, triggers, recovery periods and so forth. It’s an assessment model the last I studied it. It might now have it’s own therapy but it’s strength was in describing so incredibly accurately the disease model. Your oncologist and all Western medicine is simply clueless about this but there is now massive amounts of solid data which should have transformed Western medicine by now…it simply refuses to catch up.

But another method and one that I love is called BodyTalk. I like it because it takes the awesome power of bodymind intelligence (intuition on a high level) and combines it like a computer program with conceptual thinking to allow the bodymind to produce the exact priorities of disease in priority order that the bodymind must address to achieve a restoration in synchronization, communication and balance throughout the bodymind and social complex that we call us. (We are like galaxies, which we then to view as the bright stars which only go to a certain distance and then end. The truth is that more of what we truly are is invisible, just as most of galaxies – mass and otherwise – is not visible light.) BodyTalk doesn’t rely on the standard model of diagnosis and treatment. It bypasses diagnosis, not needing to name a disease at all, but simply discovering priority “linkages” and creating them. The body then realigns and healing is achieved. BodyTalk is also totally integrative. It starts with asking for permissions because on several levels of our bodymind we can hold up healing so that any method can be rendered less or totally ineffective, no matter how good it is. Then the next question is “is BodyTalk priority?” Sometimes the BodyMind will say “no” and then questioning will lead to another modality. Sometimes even “go to dentist” or “go to ER”. A BodyTalk session can even prepare a person for surgery or some other treatment or help a person with quicker recovery from such. In this way, it’s as egoless as you can get.

A couple of EXTREMELY low cost brute force methods that rarely fail when used in conjunction with any amount of methodology which take into account the massive effect of consciousness on the organism is electro-medicine and H2O2 therapy. For electro-medicine you can go to worldwithoutparasites d com. Many people will think the Crafts way to “woo woo” but the zappers they sell are effective. I know from personal experience. And not just to cure terminal illnesses but even just destroying viruses and other types of parasitic infections that might attempt to get a foothold within the body.

H2O2 or hydrogen peroxide needs to be food grade. I’ve gone through a total regiment and man does it work. It’s cheaper than cheap. I feel that when it doesn’t work on people it’s because of ignoring the consciousness side of things. In fact, that’s what many experts who’ve studied it think as well. Even though these are “brute force” approaches, they have zero side effects on most people except for improved health in other ways/areas.

What I like about these is that they take into account more than Eastern or Western medicine do with their current reliance on the diagnostic-treatment model which is often guesswork. (More often than not.) Sometimes great guesswork and sometimes not so great. But no matter what, the model is limited because how can you quantify a disease in a system which we are only medically aware of a small percentage of? I mean they are looking at gross structures in the body and saying “these are not normal/these are bad-how can we get rid of them?”

The reason they arrived is because of a misalignment and imbalance in your bodymindsocial construct and no amount of cutting, blasting or poisoning them will change the underlying issues or even ask the question about an underlying issue. Eastern medicine, while several steps ahead, still relies on the diagnosis-treatment model. Both have their uses and are made more effective with a system like BodyTalk.

Finally, thanks for continuing to produce highly valuable work for our time and future generations, Morty. I’ve been enjoying it for years and hope to continue to.

Here is what I have found in my inbox after sending you my comment: (from Neale Walsch)

On this day of your life,
CARMELA, I believe God wants you to know…

…that illness is not a sign of spiritual weakness, but of
    spiritual strength.

When we fall ill there are some who will say, “Why
did you create that for yourself?” They might convince
you to see it as a sign of spiritual weakness or failure.
It is not. It is a sign of spiritual strength.

All challenges are a sign of spiritual strength, and of
    the readiness of the Soul to move on;
    to evolve even further.

    Love, Your Friend …

    Dear Morty

Your candor and courageous sharing of your condition and thinking process,

as you walk your talk of ”occurring”, are really remarkable and admirable

    and deeply touched my heart.

Although I know male and female brains constructed and function differently,

as a woman I find it, though, very remote, analytical, dry ”cold cut”, no emotions nor any

softness, or vulnerability, come through…( Hopefully they are expressed more privately…)

I remember having this impression, thinking this same thought, when listening to your voice

and clear cut speaking on webinars and on q & a sessions…

G-D is my witness that this isn’t any criticism !!! But a suggestion to look at that aspect

for healing purposes… May be the so logical approach, doesn’t allow the proper and

healthy emotional digestion and emotional waste elimination… and it shows up as blockages

and overgrowthes in that body tract…

Just a thought which might be totally wrong,

Since I don’t really know you…maybe it is presumtuous and ” hutzpa” on my part

to say this. If so, please forgive me.

Wishing you the warmest best wishes to reach the big turning point for the better, to occur

soon, for a swift full recovery, with insights far beyond ”occurring” , as your next life

    teaching project.

    G-D Bless You !!!

Hi Monty. Have you come across META-Health? It might be something you would be interested in as it aligns well with your beliefs model. META-Health specifies that disease is created by conflicts and stress. The body is adaptive and our biology will adapt very specifically to our thoughts to try and help the body become what the mind needs it to be (ie bigger, stronger, better in that area). For each specific type of conflict there is a direct affect on a specific organ. For example if we feel suffocated this will affect the lungs and they will increase their capacity by producing more alveoli so we get more air, if we can cannot digest/take in a piece of information the stomach will produce extra cells to help the digestion. There is a healing phase too when the conflict is resolved and the extra cells break down which produces symptoms (ie a cough for the lungs and diahorrea for the stomach). We can therefore tell from our symptoms what the conflict is. The conflict for the colon is ‘ugly indigestible anger conflict’. The liver is about ‘fear of survival/existence’. You sound like you are in a very healed place with your thoughts and feelings via your work but to me your body at a deep subconscious level is telling you there’s issues in these areas. It might be worth exploring these angles. Is there an ugly situation which makes you angry and which you can’t quite let go of? The cancer itself can become a conflict too (and usually does with people). With love.

Dear Morty, thanks for sharing. This openness, honesty and transparency of yours is so helpful for us and I am sure that there is a healing power IN the sharing. We are not the body, we are not the mind and what we really are is connected and always whole and while you share this with us you connect yourself to that part of you that is whole and can never be ill or die or suffer.
The beauty is that by reading this we also connect with that part of us.

Ask Jesus to come to your heart tonight!. If you ask Him with sincere heart, He will.

I can’t promise He will heal you, though in many instances He does!

What I can promise is that your life will never be the same again.

      Praying for you,
