How to have confidence that you can help just about any client with the Lefkoe Method

You ask your clients what they believe.  They either have no idea what a belief is or they suggest things that you aren’t sure make sense.

And this lack of certainty robs you of confidence as you proceed with the session.

You think:

I’ve never heard of this one before.

Is this right?

Is this a belief?

And this is compounded because when you look for the source, if you don’t find it, you wonder if it’s because it’s not a real belief. Should I keep looking for the source?

Or should I switch to a different belief?

And at each step, the confusion only increases.

If you get through all the steps, you check for the belief at the end. If the client says the words again and the belief appears to be “gone,” you might wonder “Did I eliminate a belief that will make a difference?”

How do you solve this problem?

There are two important keys.

First, elicit clearly from the client, the pattern she wants to change.

Second, elicit clearly from the client, beliefs causing the pattern.

Notice that I used the word “elicit” twice.

I didn’t say “Come up with the pattern” or “Come up with the beliefs.” I said to “elicit.”

That’s the key.

Elicitation means you get the client to give you the answer, instead of you having to always be the expert on their problems.

The funny thing is they still see you as the expert as they realize things they never understood before about themselves.

But the pressure is off of you to have all the answers.

You just have a way to get the client to find the answers.

That becomes your expertise.

And with the ability to draw forth the answers from your client, comes greater confidence.

You don’t have to have “seen it all” before to know you can help most people.  You only need to master the art of finding out.

Presenting “The Art of Elicitation”: How to get the client to reveal the pattern, the beliefs and dissolve their own meanings

The Art of Elicitation shows you how to elicit the information you need from a client using clearly defined steps in a specific sequence.

It’s like a recipe made of questions.

Once you know that an omelet consists of beaten eggs, a filling and a frying pan it’s hard to forget.

The same is true of the steps you learn in The Art of Elicitation.

Everything has been made simple but not simplistic.

You will learn …

  • The three steps to eliciting a pattern quickly from a client without rushing.
  • How to get a client to reveal the thoughts and feelings they avoid so effectively that they don’t even know they are there
  • What to say when a client gives you multiple issues to work on that helps them zero in on the pattern that will make the biggest difference in their lives
  • How to translate your clients rough words into statements of belief we can eliminate with the Belief Process
  • The two questions that get the client to reveal self-beliefs they never knew they had
  • How to help a client make changes before they’ve come to their first session
  • What to teach a client so they are unlikely to forget you
  • How to give someone a taste of TLM that gets them to believe you can help them

The philosophy of elicitation makes all this possible.

But does this apply to finding patterns too?

Yes.

Some clients will give you a problem such as “I don’t make enough money” or “my relationship sucks.

These statements point to important outcomes for the client.  However, we need a behavior and/or emotions the person wants to change.

We will show you how to redirect the client into giving you just the information you need without making them feel invalidated.

In fact they end up feeling grateful to finally get why they have their problem … and that’s before they’ve eliminated any beliefs!

But what if it’s hard to get clients?

Have you ever described the Lefkoe Method to someone who can’t believe a word you are saying?

Eliminate a belief.

Yeah right.

Change behavior for good.

No way.

One solution is to do a demonstration of the process for the skeptical person.  This often works quite well. They can feel the change and see the change in their lives.

But one problem ….

Taking a new person through the Lefkoe Belief Process can often take 20-30 minutes to eliminate a single belief.  Sometimes it can take a bit longer.

And if you are in a networking meeting or a casual conversation, it’s pretty hard to work that in.

But the Lefkoe Freedom Process can be done in much less time … if you have the skills to facilitate it.

This allows you to do a demonstration in much less time

And you don’t have to bring up a person’s childhood or anything very sensitive to make it work.

Another problem that shows up is when you help someone eliminate a belief as part of a demonstration, they think the belief should change their entire life.

It may, but often more work is required.

But when you dissolve an occurring about an event and the emotion goes away, the client is not expecting their entire life to change.  They know they will need more work to get long-term results.

Of course for this to work, you have to successfully dissolve a meaning

When a person is new to the Lefkoe Freedom Process, it is not always easy for them.

They need to be guided very carefully through it the first time to be successful.

And so in this course, we show you how to guide new people into dissolving meaning.

So the next time someone asks you to demonstrate what you do, you can do so with confidence.

And this may win you a few new clients.

But more than that, it can help you retain clients

We all have some clients that get amazing results but seem to forget about us after their work is complete.

What happened?

Shouldn’t powerful change always leave a lasting memory?

It does at first.

Few people forget they had a problem one week that was gone the next.

But what about years later?

Since the changes are effortless, they don’t have to remember anything to keep them in their lives.

Years down the road when there is a problem they may or may not remember you.

But when you teach your clients the Lefkoe Freedom Process, they are able to help themselves through many minor and even major upsets that are not part of patterns and therefore not appropriate for the Lefkoe Belief Process.

This helps your client but it also makes them remember who taught them this valuable skill.

Clients who learn the LFP from you will often be yours for life

And when they can’t handle an issue themselves sometime in the future, they might try the LFP to deal with their upset and when they need more work, they know who to call.

You can learn all of this when you join the Art of Elicitation.
